Lifetime Limited Transferable Warranty

Best Window & Door Company warrants to the origional consumer purchaser, that under normal use this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the purchaser owns and lives in the single family residence, hereinafter “Home”, in which the product was installed. The details of this warranty are as follows:

BASIC DOOR – LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE

The 20-gauge Smooth and Stainable Steel, the 22-gauge Stainable Steel, and the Fiberglass door slabs are warranted not to shrink, warp, split, crack, or delaminate for as long as you own and live in the Home in which the product was installed. This warranty is transferable to one subsequent purchaser.

CLEAR GLASS – LIFETIME

Clear glass units have a lifetime limited warranty, including glass breakage and seal failure, for as long as you own and live in the Home in which the product was installed. This includes clear with Painted Internal Muntins, Brass Internal Muntins and ComfortTech™ Low-E Argon glass.

DECORATIVE GLASS & INTERNAL BLINDS – 10 YEAR

Decorative glass and internal blind units are warranted against seal failure and defects to material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of installation.

DOOR FRAME & FRAME COMPONENTS – 5 YEAR

Steel L-frame and stops, Full Wood Frame and brickmold, Sahara® threshold system, hinges, weatherstripping and PVC vinyl coated aluminum frame cladding are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of installation.

FINISHES – 5 YEAR

Paint and stain finishes on the door slab, and metal frame components are warranted against flaking, checking, blistering or peeling for a period of five (5) years from date of installation.

LIFETIME FINISH HARDWARE & ACCESSORIES – LIFETIME

Schlage® Lifetime Finish hardware, Emtek® Lifetime Finish hardware, Kick Plates, Mail/Magazine Slots, Door Knockers and Door Knocker Viewers with lifetime finish are warranted against tarnishing and mechanical defects for as long as you own and live in the Home in which the product was installed.
